GO VOTE: Progressives can drive the debate on election day with five simple words: change, truth, balance, protect, and people.
"We live in a free society, and our government is only as good as the willingness of our people to participate in it. And therefore, no matter what your party affiliation, or if you don't have a party affiliation, do your duty; cast your ballot and let your voice be heard. So we thank you for -- we thank you for being a good citizen."
"We thank you for being a good citizen." What a joke.In fact, the President's Republican Party believes that the government is only good if they control 100% of it, so they have paid operatives calling voters in key states with lies of criminal arrest if they vote. Touching.
But what should progressives say given the same opportunity on election day? How can progressives sum up in a few words what this day means?
Here is a list of 5 words that all progressives can use to talk about what the election means to America...
These are words that sum up our efforts, our hopes, and our vision:
5 Words To Say On Election Day
1. Change
2. Truth
3. Balance
4. Protect
5. People
With these simple words, progressives can drive the debate on election day. Don't be shy, the moment for progressives to really step up and make their voices heard is not--as President Bush would have us believe--only when we go into the voting booth and pull a lever.
We begin to make our voices heard, today! But because of what we do today, our voices will continue to be heard for a long time to come.
Change, truth, balance, protect, people.
